A page about me, angel investing so far and why you, as a founder, might want to choose me.

👷‍♀️ My thesis

I believe the next wave of great companies will be powered by community.

I’ve come to this belief as one of Europe’s first community leaders in early stage technology. I’ve spent almost 15 years building community + coalitions in startups and at Google, online and offline. Community can get you to product-market fit faster, can surface highly specific product feedback, can help you find fans, customers and co-designers who stay. And considering broader stakeholders early makes for more resilient businesses.

As an angel investor, I specialise in helping founders build communities, whether you have a thriving space where the product emerges (think open source) or you’re a startup seeking guidance on the right metrics and strategy to bring people together in the most effective and authentic way.

I’m a generalist who loves to learn but works across web2 and web3. Whatever internet era you’re in, I’m passionate about new power; groups who in the past had less voice or agency can be enabled, through technology, to have dramatically more of both.

I like games with many winners.

I believe great businesses or projects think about their larger role as responsible citizens in society, and do their best to behave accordingly.

I get excited by big bold bets led by brilliant people, working together. Common magic.
